I didn't like this CD. I think Rhianna should have taken time to heal before realeasing a CD.

The Wait is Ova...

Rihanna is back with her latest album `Rated- R'. Everybody was anticipating her album after the incident with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. I am a Rihanna fan but I put that aside when I review an album.

1. Mad House- This song is just an intro. It is a dark sounding voice that introduces Rihanna and the Album. It's basically saying listen at your own risk because it's a Mad House. 4/5
2. Wait Your Turn- It is a little different then what we are used to hearing from her. Nevertheless it is still a good opening song and it's actually quite catchy. The song is saying that she's back and it's her turn to shine, so the `Wait Is Over'. 4.5/5
3. Hard- This song is definitely new to Rihanna's previous style. It is a cocky song that is saying that Rih goes hard. Young Jezzy makes an appearance and even though I'm not a big fan of his but his voice worked in this song. It's also a very catchy song. 5/5
4. Stupid in Love- This song is obviously a song about her relationship with Chris. A lot of people will be able to relate to this song. It's about being a fool in love. Her voice sounds good in the song as well. 5/5
5. Rockstar 101- Definitely one of my favorite songs on the album. It's cocky, addicting, and overall satisfying. You will find yourself singing and dancing to this song in your bedroom. It also shows us a more adult Rih Rih. 5/5
6. Russian Roulette- The second single lives up to its expectations. The music gives an eerie feeling to the song. It explains how love is like a game of Russian roulette, that it's a game of chance. Her voice sounds phenomenal on the track. 5/5
7. Fire Bomb- This is a fan favorite. The song is once again about love. It's about your significant other feeling what you are feeling. 4/5
8. Rude Boy- My favorite song on the album. It reminds me of Sell Me Candy (My favorite Song on Good Girl Gone Bad). It is naughty and will have you singing it throughout the day. It was truly my guilty pleasure. 5/5
9. Photographs- This song is so beautiful. It's just saying how they could have made it but they didn't, so all she has left is photographs. Will.i.am made the song better, if that was possible. 5/5
10. G4L- I don't like this song. It gives a weird vibe. It does give the bad girl vibe but I didn't like it. Her voice and the music just through me off. 3/5
11. Te Amo- A beautiful song as well. I didn't like this song at first. It grew on me. The words `Te Amo' means I love you in Spanish. 5/5
12. Cold Case Love- One of my favorites. The song is different and the instruments sound beautiful in the background. Rih's vocals also shined on this track. 5/5
13. The Last Song- I didn't like this song at first either but it grew on me as well. It ended the album perfectly and left me missing the album after I turned it off. 4.5/5

An all-around good CD. Not as good as her Good Girls Gone Bad CD, but still worth the purchase.

Well I was surprised with the F-bomb in the beginning of the CD since I had the explicit version first and then bought the clean.


The Clean version is not that clean, I mean u can figure what the word is.

I love "Wait your turn" as I searched for the meaning of the song and found out it's about having sex???? I'm not sure but I love the beat and lyrics

Russian Roulette is amazing I love the lyrics of the song, good job ne-yo

They are kinda Ballad songs

where do I start. this song have the most offended language in it then the rest of the album, but still one of the favorites.

I think this song is about revenge/homicide.

Te Amo

Not sure if it's about a lesbian or it's narrated by a man not very sure but I don't like it so much

But overall

Rihanna defiantly changed, the lyrics, tone everything but i think she did a good job.

Awesome Album

I've always been a huge Rihanna fan but this album is truly great. She changes up her style into something a little harder and I LOVE it.
